Why We Need this FREE Conversation Series…
Do you get enough good conversation? I find that interesting conversation is hard to come by. I miss it and so I’m doing something about it! I’m setting the stage to host frequent, provocative conversations on a range of interesting topics about health and well-being. And you’re invited to join in…all you need is a phone.
Back before life became all high tech and complicated, men and women had many natural communication environments: around the campfire or pot-bellied stove, quilting and sewing bees, tea parties and coffee klatches, and Sunday afternoons after church.

Today, good conversations are much less frequent, a lot less engaging and often not even in real time!
We’re all so busy working, studying and trying to stay on top of life, that many of us miss natural opportunities for engaging in conversation. We’re also so often plugged in – glued to our TVs, computers, and mobile devices – that it’s hard to disconnect from our virtual conversations in order to have live, real-time conversations.
What I’d like to do for you (and for me!) is to offer free, gently- facilitated telephone conversations twice a month (first and third Tuesdays) around health and wellness topics. I’ll set up each call with a quote, example or story to get the juices flowing and invite everyone on the call to participate. Each call will be guided by a small handful of questions to jumpstart the discussion and take it to an interesting place. We’ll have folks from all over joining in on the discussion—from all walks of life and full of varying perspectives. Imagine the energy and wisdom! I envision 20% of the conversation coming from me and 80% from everyone else on the phone. This will not be a one-sided conversation!

Now and again I will invite experts from this community and others to facilitate topics related to their expertise. I will also invite participants to suggest topics.
