What are your favorite kitchen tools and gadgets?

Efficiency in the kitchen is important….we’re all so busy!  So let’s share what our favorite kitchen tools are.  They can be electric or manual. 

Here are a few of my favorites:

• salad spinner – a must if you eat a lot of salads
• sharp knives – several sizes
• large wooden cutting board
• plastic roll up cutting board for meat that I can pop in the dishwasher to sanitize
• blender to make my daily smoothie
• tea kettle (is that a tool?)

   My favorite kitchen tool is my cast iron skillet.

   Looks like we have similar favorite tools. I love all of the ones you’ve all mentioned – with the exception of using cookie cutters to make fun foods. I’ll have to try that. Oh and I no longer have a juicer. Mine was too hard to clean so I never used it. I like cast iron…and you get a workout when you pick it up! Cheryl
