30-Day Discipline Experiment – Day 13

OK now it’s time to get serious.  I’ve been enjoying playing with my idea of discipline, now I’m ready to choose several things to be disciplined about and track my progress on for the remainder of this 30-day experiment.  Here’s my “for sure” list:

  • Go to the gym – at least 2 times a week
  • Clean house before the weekend – so I can be free to do other things
  • Complete tax project by the end of the month
  • File papers by the end of the month
  • Continue with my “no complaints” challenge–BTW I’m doing well with this!  Yay Cheryl.

I think that’s enough :)

What’s your short list?

  1. Anne says:

    My list reads:

So that I’m better focused during the week, I reserve Saturday mornings for market, laundry and house cleaning.

Trialing a couple new modalities to take my family’s health to the next level. With combined ages of 225 years, being the difference for longevity and vitality rank high in priorities.

    Budgets completed for the year.

One hillside landscape project carved out and ready to lay down the stone at the end of the month.

  2. Love these goals Anne – I see you achieving them with ease. Cheryl

  3. Bindle says:

Thanks for inviting me to join in your 30-day discipline experiment. After hearing it works for you, and taking time off to recuperate after a long ordeal, plus reading a great book called “How to Jump Start Your Metabolism with Breathing” I am ready to go!!

    1. Get my house in shape to sell or rent.
    2. Continue to get back in shape.
    3. Make my 15-year old son and husband feel loved (some good healthy cooking and “on time” meals).
    4. Find a way to earn money and “be love” at work.
    5. Engage in joy, relaxation and fun daily!

  4. Hi Bindle – Quite a set of goals! I’ve got a goal tracker tool I think you’ll love. After I finish this comment, I’m going to write about it in Day 14! Stay tuned.

BTW I agree that the book about jumpstarting your metabolism with breathing is a really good book. I know the author. In fact, she lives just a few blocks from me. Really good stuff! Cheryl
